Thank you for contacting Mersey Medical Services Ltd regarding joining our

team, one of the leading suppliers of medical services across the UK and Europe. 

 

This is the first step in joining a Professional, Reliable and Experienced Medical

Service led by industry leaders. 

 

We are currently actively recruiting for the following roles for individuals who are based

predominantly across Manchester or Liverpool, with consideration to those who reside in the

North West. 

 

Self-employed sub-contractors:

 

Emergency Medical Technicians who hold: 

FPOS-I / FREC / EMT / ECA.

Please note all applicants must have an in-date certificate which covers AED, Oxygen and Entonox certification. 

 

Or

HCPC Registered Paramedics:

For some contracts, will need to be able to supply their own schedule one drugs kit(s) to our advised standards.

 

Or 

Registered Nurses, PAs and ODPs

Who wish to work on events, festivals or film sets in one of the step down EMTs roles. They should hold an minimum of First Aid however ALS/ILS and Emergency Care exposure is desired.

 

Or

Be on a recognised higher level study programme for a certified HCP course, 

such as Student Paramedic, Student Nurse, Student Doctor, Student ODP and wish to attend one of our in-house company courses and inductions. 

 

Once you have joined Mersey Medical Services Ltd you can expect some of the best pay rates around with minimum payments of £9.50 per hour or a minimum payment of £60 for all non-HCP staff, and up to £50 per hour for registered HCPs. 

You will join a leading team where you will be supported with CPD events (as well as paid for social/team building events) Access to E-Learning and On Call Clinicians, and in turn receive full indemnity, medical malpractice, and public liability under Mersey Medical Services Ltd own insurance cover. 

 

Due to our strict requirements we must complete a full compliance check including background checks and a company induction before you are compliant with our system for work.

In order to complete the above application form you will be asked to supply:

 

- Proof of Identity: Passport, Driving Licence, Birth Certificate etc. 

- Proof of Address: Household bill, council tax letter, bank statement etc, dated in the last 3 months (mobile phone bill not accepted)

- Proof of National Insurance: P60, P45, Payslip or HMRC letter

- CV: Documenting work history for 5 years or to full time education

- Registration Pin / Student ID  (If applicable)

- Medical Course Certificates: Minimum requirements as per the form. 

 

You will also need a copy of your

- DBS which must be on the electronic update service, or to confirm we will complete a DBS check on your behalf at your costs

   (cost as of June 2021 = £50.40)

- Immunisation History 

- Personal, written Reference
